Bone folders are perhaps the most essential tool for bookbinding and for craft in general; they are used to fold, crease, poke, prod, agitate, move, encourage and lift!
When using these you should be aware that they will burnish the surface of most materials including paper, card, cloth and leather . To avoid this you should consider using a teflon folder, more expensive but gentle.
