Named
after George Hervey, Earl of Bristol and introduced in back in 1800, Bristol Board
was originally used to make playng cards and calling cards. A durable super
smooth board made form good quality cotton fibres, the surface is heavily sized
and compressed and is useful for drawing, pen and ink, calligraphy and
felt-tip.
