"Katazome-shi" literally means stencil-dyed paper. Based on traditional kimono printing techniques these Japanese papers are stencilled by hand to produce unforgettable, intense colours and patterns. Like Chiyogami, the strength and look of these special papers makes them great for bookbinding, box making, collage and card making, covering lampshades, decorating furniture and much more.
