Somerset is a traditional printmaking paper suitable for a wide variety of traditional printmaking techniques. The surface of the paper has been made to be slightly absorbent to ensure the ink adheres to the sheet.

Rigorous quality control checks are routinely carried out during every making to ensure the paper is made to the highest standard. St Cuthberts Mill is regulated by ISO9001:2000.

Handle the paper by the edges to avoid touching the surface due to be printed. The surface of the paper is most vulnerable when wet and should be handled with care.
