Old Master Range
Linen and cotton rag laid paper, like the drawing papers used in the 17th century.

Also good for calligraphy and etchings.

This paper has been used for wallpaper, book restorations and letterpress printing

All of the St Armand Papers are archival and acid free. The pulp is made using mostly clothing manufacturer's offcuts but also linen, flax, straw, jute and sisal. The pulp is internally sized so the paper will not act as a blotter.

All Saint -Armand papers have four deckle edges . The fibres are evenly distributed because each sheet is pulled with a mold one at a time and then air dried. There is no grain direction. The sheets can be folded without cracking and can hold deep embossing. For the same reason, after being soaked in water, the paper will return perfectly flat when pressed.
